Beautiful but a bit rigid
Visited Castello Di Amorosa last month, and the castle itself is absolutely stunning – truly a unique experience compared to other Napa wineries like Sterling or Beringer. The Chocolate and Wine Pairing was a really enjoyable combination, and the staff were knowledgeable. However, I found their cancellation policy for castle tours a bit strict; it's not very flexible if plans change unexpectedly. It would be great if they offered a bit more leeway, especially given the cost. Overall, a memorable visit, but that one aspect was a minor letdown.

A Fantastic Tour Experience
Unlike our visit to Sterling Vineyards, the Royal Pairing at Castello di Amorosa exceeded expectations with 5 distinct wines. We paid $145.50 for two, and they even offered to check if they ship to New York.

Cool Castle, But Pricey!
Visited Castello di Amorosa recently and it's definitely a sight to behold, way more impressive than just a regular tasting room like at Sterling. The Wine Salt I bought was super unique and a great souvenir. My only real complaint is how much those tasting tickets cost; for a quick visit, it felt a little steep, even if the place is awesome.

better than mondavi, but the dessert wine was a bit pricey for what it was. i had trouble finding a current promo code too, seems like most deals are for wine club members only. the Barbera was good though.
fun castle, good wine, but a long tour!
compared to sterling vineyards, castello di amorosa was a totally different vibe, way more of a destination. we did the royal pairing and it was really cool to see the castle, definitely unique. the gewurztraminer was surprisingly good, nice and aromatic. the tour itself felt pretty long though, almost two hours walking around. it’s a great experience, but i wish they offered a slightly shorter option for those just wanting to do a quick tasting and see a few highlights.
